Neeru joined Richards & Evans Commercial Lawyers in March 2024, having previously lived, worked and studied abroad in Nepal and the USA, as an expert in human and women’s rights.
Prior to moving to Australia in 2013, Neeru was a human rights lawyer in Nepal and worked for not-for-profit organisations and the United Nations.
Her previous work involved policy advocacy and strategic lobbying, focussing on marginalised communities, and providing expert advice to Members of Parliament and various human rights and civil society organisations in Nepal.
